MUSCLE MEALS

TASTY TURKEY BURGERS

Try these bad boys out. They’re cheap, simple to make, and a great source of protein without the extra fats from ground beef. Plus they are a convenient alternative to a sandwich if you need a protein fix on the go. 

Ingredients For 4 Burgers

450 grams of lean turkey mince  

½ an onion (finely diced)

½ a red pepper (finely diced) 

1 teaspoon of chilli (fresh or dried) 

1 teaspoon of oregano

1 clove of garlic (crushed) 

1 whole egg

A good few glugs of Worchester Sauce/reduced salt Soy Sauce

If you're feeling adventurous, peel an apple and then grate it into the mix!

4 simple steps

1.     Get all of the ingredients in a large bowl and mix them well. 

2.     Shape the meat into 4 burgers.

3.     Brown the burgers in a frying pan (ideally in organic coconut oil or butter from grass fed cows)

4.     Cook the burgers in the oven for 20 minutes on gas mark 5 or until fully cooked (depending on thickness). 

ENJOY! 

Garnish with a bit of Avocado and Rocket and salsa. Tastes great with Sweet Potato fries!
